Powerpoint for Shakespeare Day, focuses on who Shakespeare was then introduces a sonnet for KS2-5 with a reading and discussion oppurtunites for each. Depending on the nature of the group you may use others with different year groups. Students can then have a go at writing their own sonnet.

Discussion and debate activity on whether New Years Resolutions are worthwhile. Students could extend it into creating a questionnaire on other peoples vIEws, researching statistics about it and creating graphics etc of their findings. Perfect for the start of the 2023 term for KS3-KS5

Could also be used to form a display for LGBT history month with students adding their own key moments or key figures after research.

National Pet Day is on the 11th April this Powerpoint has lots of discussion about why we love our pets and the benefits of having pets. Then involves designing a dream pet. Would work for any time to look at pets. Suitable for KS2 &3 but could easily be adapted for KS1.

Information powerpoint on the Coronation of King Charles on 6th May. Lots of simple info for students in KS2-5. Could easily be adapted for an assembly or used in form time. Would work well with my other Coronation resources like the crossword or wordsearch to create a 20min form time. Or could be paired with my Garden Party planning for an afternoon of Coronation activities.
